Abacus

Saint Franicis School, takes extra care for Abacus training for the students. A counting machine called “ABACUS”, was used by people in China, Greece and Middle East to calculate. Beads were moved back and forth along parallel rods to add and subtract large numbers.

Abacus helps to develop the functions of the brain. Logic creativity, analysis, vision, language, colours, numbers, imagination, sequence and rhythm.

Performing arts in education provides students an opportunity to engage the mind, body and emotions into a collaborative expression of all that it means to be human. It helps students explore and discover their own voice. It moulds them into confident and empathetic individuals,   who are compassionate about life.
